About this deal

The full-length, in-depth and intimate autobiography from Jenson Button, one of Britain's greatest ever racing drivers. How to be an F1 Driver will recreate the sights, sounds and smells of being in the cockpit travelling at over 200 miles per hour, the fear of death, what happens when it goes wrong at high speed and the euphoria of crossing the line in first. Much of the early press coverage around this book concerned Jenson’s first admissions of anxiety attacks. The excellent “My Championship Year” is much like a magazine diary layout with a lot of detailed content. Jenson Button is a British racing driver who has been in Formula 1 for seventeen years, appearing in 308 grand prix, the second most in history.

I'll admit i've yet to watch Jenson drive but I have been impressed by his role in f1 media post his retirement from the sport. nem tudok nekik olykor nem igazat adni, hiszen mostanság azért akadnak „dominancia-korszakok”, mint például az idei évig bezárólag a Mercedesé, előtte a Red Bullé, kicsivel előtte meg a Ferrarié, ezek pedig néha nekem is unalmas versenyeket produkáltak. It’s a memoir that focuses almost entirely on the thing Button is famous for ie racing and motorsports. It's just made me love Jenson Button even more than I did, and I can't wait to see what comes next for him not that his Formula One journey is over. How does it compare with Jenson’s previous “ My Championship Year” book on his 2009 championship season with Brawn GP? He reveals his relationships with some of the biggest names in Formula 1- Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso as well some of the most colorful characters like Bernie Ecclestone, Ron Dennis, Frank Williams and serial winner Ross Brawn.

Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. But not only that you get a look into his life growing up and as he moved through the ranks of Motorsport. Above everything, Jenson came across as a real, genuine bloke in his book – despite the money, the fame, the swanky boats and houses and cars – if you met him in a pub for a curry on a Tuesday night, you’d have a right laugh. Button gives interesting insights into some of the sports most fascinating characters – Flavio Briatorie most of all.His seventeen years in Formula 1 have seen him experience everything the sport has to offer, from nursing underpowered cars around the track to winning World Championships and everything in between. Life to the limit is well worth reading for anyone who is interested in Formula1, especially if you have followed Jenson Button’s career.

There is some common overlap in the books which both cover the Honda pullout, Mercedes engine swap and various 2009 key race highlights like the season opener in Australia, Monaco and Brazil. From growing up as part of a motor-racing-mad family under the guidance of his father John, to arriving at Williams as a fresh-faced 20 year-old, to being written off by some as a playboy and his fight back to the very pinnacle of his sport. I think any F1 fan would enjoy this, but one thing that confused me was that he swayed between different motorsports.
