About this deal

Perhaps this is a personal pet peeve of mine, but the reading voice kept pronouncing "has" instead of "as", which really bugged me at times. It does share some valuable insights here and there but nothing that is substantial if you are already taking care of your personal finances. Money is an important topic, especially for women and feminists, so the discussion/activity prompts at the end of the chapters were also a nice, refreshing touch. In short, this book is an empowering manifesto, summarizing everything we've learned from teaching 150,000+ people across the globe to make the most of their money.

However I did find this as a good reminder of some basic principles and found the sustainability/feminist part educating. While there is a ton that is rehashed here forsure, the incredible part of this book is the deep specificity on socially and environmentally responsible investing. In this clip, our Co-Founder Camilla shares her thoughts on the gender funding gap and some of the barriers we've faced. I was very surprised to read on the last page about the authors, being so young sharing what they've learned so far about investing. In terms of recommendations and feedback, there were some sweeping statements made early in the book, which I feel would have benefited from citing the source material/study to add a little more support and strength to the points being made. The authors very much cover sustainable/ethical investing which I found a great confidence boost, as ethical investing is important to me and the authors add clarity and insight to the ethical area.

Bought this book on a bit of a whim the day before it was published because I want to get on top on my finances and start investing, but I don't really know where to start. I listened to the audiobook, which went very quickly and was easy to follow despite the fact that the actual book is very divided into sections and short outtakes.Yesterday, our new book 'Girls Just Wanna Have Funds' got released and we're absolutely blown away by how well it's been received. The book is also packed with empowering reflections, interviews and practical tools that will instil you with confidence and set you on the path towards financial freedom. We want to prove that you don't have to be an expert or a millionaire to invest, and that doing so is a powerful way to achieve freedom.

Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. Numerous underlying issues persist, and only by shedding light on them can we hope to create a world where founders are judged on merit, not on gender. By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. While being Editor-in-Chief of her company Beyond the Interview, Nicole challenges others to become comfortable speaking about topics they’d normally avoid.

The scarcity of female founders is often highlighted as a reason for the gender gap in VC funding, but our experience tells a different truth. Crypto is confusing, but Megan and Saira dive deep into the basics around getting started in the space, to the gotchas that you must be aware of.
